Grateful hearts came about from glass being broke in a storm. Pieces fell off the table and the pro panels went with the tent in the wind. A lot of broken glass. Piled it all in a storage bin and carted it home. Found the cast iron mold and the firing schedule and was “grateful”. There turned out to be another study in molten glass movement. I’ve made hundreds of them, including cremations (ashes) from loved one and beloved pets for memorials. Each heart is created because I am grateful God guided me to create a meaningful piece of art.
