In the article I wrote for Pecan Neighbors, I mention how much I love the challenge of learning new methodology. That challenge with the new technique I’m learning is about blending. How, with hard surfaces, can you blend? It’s not like paint where you can mix. To blend with glass, in this technique, starts with a pile and then letting the kiln do it’s job of melting. The glass moves as it gets molten, then as it cools, it hardens. To use it requires strength. A lot! I’m learning and getting strong.
